Personal Training

Personal attention is priceless when it comes to starting a new program. Many programs out on the market cater to one style of training that doesn't always work for everyone. Each individual has their own unique needs, wants and desires for their body and lifestyle. It is important to recognize these aspects and determine what is realistic for an individual’s lifestyle in order to truly be successful.

Jessica's style of training is a unique style that hits every component of fitness. cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, agility, flexibility, core and stability. She has come up with a methodology of training called “JFit360”. This style of training incorporates many functional movements that will help an individual with everyday life.

Most people in today’s world are hunched over at a desk and then proceed to sit in a car and then go home and sit on the couch. Lack of movement in the day has become a huge issue in most people’s lives. First it is about getting the body moving and comfortable with movements the body was built to do. Then it is critical to build a strong foundation to keep the body stable and injury free so a person can then move to more advanced movements.

The key to fitness is to enhance your everyday life making it easier for you to do the things you love to do. If someone has injuries there are ways to work around these injuries to continue getting more fit and staying healthy. Injuries are not a reason to stop working out; it is more of a reason to continue to workout! If done appropriately working out will help to rehab injuries, make them stronger and manage the pain.

When starting a workout program it is key to have the mindset of creating a healthier lifestyle to promote balance and wellness into one’s lifestyle. Loosing weight, getting stronger and fitting into those skinny jeans is just an added bonus and a motivator to keep us going. The underlining reason one should begin a fitness program is to become a healthier person. Having this mindset will make it a lifestyle change rather then a short-term goal to attain. There will be lots of ups and downs and frustrations when it comes to the day to day routine but always keep in mind that your health will always benefit from going to the gym and making healthier choices. You will stay more consistent and be more successful in the long run when your health is the priority not just to get skinny or more buff.
