Jessica has been working with clients for almost 15 years and has dedicated her career to fitness and wellness. She has worked hard to get her own body and mind to a healtheir place and will continue this journey. Jessica hopes to pass her knowledge on and help people live healthier and happier lives. Ferrum Fitness is another Agoura Hills community gem that makes living here so special.  It starts with the owner -- Jessica.  She is wonderful, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in her clients.  She provides a personal touch missing in most gyms. The atmosphere is unique -- like a small private club I have been lucky enough to join.  Who doesn't love fresh free towels and a piece of fruit after a hard work-out?

As a competitive swimmer, training with Jessica has helped me improve my strength in the water which has been a huge advantage. Her experience and immense knowledge has not only helped my physically but also mentally because she motivates me to work harder. I have also gained valuable knowledge in nutrition from Jessica. She has taught me how to maximize my workouts with the proper diet and as a result I have seen my body transformed.

I joined group fit program which helped me drop 30lb in a span of 7 months.
These are few key driving factors
1. Personal care - Jessica inquiries about special requests or anyone having issues to makes sure that days program is appropriate and for the individuals she tailors with alternate exercises which i feel is unparalleled
2. Variety - I used to think more equipment wider options. Never realized we could do so many things with good trainer on-board. This was a fun factor and also motivated me to show up more often waiting for "today's special :-)"
3. Nutrition - Fitness is half the battle. By simply following Jessica's diet plan in conjunction with everyday workout, i lost 10lb in 4 weeks. Trust me it's not by starving  or supplements but by replacing bad with good
4. Proximity -- Very close to home and don't have to deal with traffic.
Groupfit is a recipe of good cardio and strength fitness program. I lost fat and gained muscle with good endurance in a balanced way. It goes without saying "Ferrum Fitness is a game changer"

After trying the big box gyms and the various crossfit studios, we finally came across Ferrum Fitness... and it's far more than we could have expected! Jessica (owner, trainer and fearless leader) has created a community within our community, as well as an atmosphere that offers success for anyone that walks in the door. Amy and I have been going to the Groupfit classes, as well as Personal Training sessions for about 6 months now and without a doubt, results show themselves continuously. Whether you're here for the Groupfit classes, Personal Training Sessions, or you come to the gym for your own workouts (self guided workouts, created by Jessica, are readily available at the front desk), you're going to see that this is one of the best values you can find - and know that Jessica and her team will take you to whatever level of fitness you are willing to work for. Being athletes our entire lives, we have finally found the team atmosphere that we've been looking for since leaving organized sports. We definitely wish that we'd come in sooner!

I've been a member of ferrum fitness for three years now.  I consider it my "cheers" gym.  When I walk in the door, everyone knows my name.  I love the individual attention we get either from groupfit classes or training with Jessica.  I look forward to my workout every chance I get!

Three years ago when I resolved to work toward a healthy body, it wasn’t for the first time. As a teenager and into my early twenties, I felt like the world was punishing me for being a fat girl, and the mirror only seemed to confirm these insecurities. I couldn’t seem to lose the weight that I pinned my unhappiness on. I felt that my body was constantly failing me, and I was a failure for it.

 

I met Jessica at a transitional point in my life when I wanted more from myself, and recognized that I needed someone to push me, inspire me, and hold me accountable to my goals. Jessica opened my eyes to a more holistic approach to health and fitness, and taught me that I just had to make the choice, everyday, to move toward the life I wanted. Her adaptive training methods, individual focus, and unshakable positivity helped me set long-term goals, but also anchor those goals in the every day work of eating well and training effectively. With Jessica’s help I’ve lost nearly a hundred pounds, but more importantly, I have a strong body that empowers me instead of holding me back.

 

Jessica’s knowledge, tenacity, and impressive dedication to her clients have made her a force to be reckoned with and an exceptional trainer. She truly practices what she preaches, from clean eating to butt-kicking full-body circuit training, and is an incredible role model for anyone looking for a health-oriented approach to life. Having Jessica in my corner, reminding me to keep things in perspective by telling me that this is right now, this is not forever, pushed me to do that extra rep, those five more seconds of plank.

 

These days I am participating in my life rather than watching it go by, stuck waiting for the day when I would feel capable and strong, ready to start taking the risks necessary to live more fully. I couldn’t have made it this far without Jessica’s invaluable help and constant support, and I am so grateful to have her as a trainer and a friend.
